New Officer Sworn-in
Patrolman Michael Housinger (left) is the newest officer for the Louisa Police Department. Housinger, who is a former Lawrence County and Martin County deputy sheriff, was sworn in to his position by Louisa Mayor Harold Slone. Louisa Police Chief Greg Fugitt said in a press release that Housinger has been a certified officer since 2015 and comes to the Louisa Police Department with “a lot of experience and knowledge of the law.”
