Martin County Grand Jury Indicts Six

INEZ — The Martin County Grand Jury issued seven true bills, which included two for one person.
•Ersel Crum Jr., 54, of Inez, is charged with second-degree burglary.
On or about March 16, Crum allegedly entered the dwelling house of Betty Harris of Inez, with the intent to commit the crime of assault.
•Jeremy Howell, 37, of Grethel, is charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and first-degree persistent felony offender.
On or about Dec. 29, 2022, Howell was allegedly in possession of two Oxygen and seven Acetylene tanks stolen from Inez Power (Paul Meade Jr.) with an approximate value of $3,329 and he is a previously convicted felon.
•Jackie Blackburn, 58, of Lovely, is charged with first-degree criminal mischief.
On or before March 17, Blackburn allegedly damaged a gas pump located at Zip Zone Gas Station of Lovely with the damages to the gas pump exceeding $1,000.
•James A. Muncy, 41, of Paintsville, is charged with first-degree bail jumping.
On or before July 6, Muncy, after having been released from custody by the court upon the condition that he would subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge 23-CR-00053, he failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court for an arraignment.
•Christopher Ratliff, 43, of Louisa, is charged with first-degree bail jumping.
On or before July 6, Ratliff, after having been released from custody by the court upon the condition that he would subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge 22-CR-00064, he failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court for Sentencing.
•Christopher Marcum, 48, of Inez, is charged in two indictments for first-degree bail jumping involving two cases.
On or before July 6, after having been released from custody by the court upon the condition that he would subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge 22-CR-00067 and 22-CR-00061 and he failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court for Sentencing in both cases.
