Martin County Grand Jury indicts one

The Martin County Grand Jury handed down one indictment during their March session.
Barbara J. Gordon, 45, of Debord, was charged with possession of a controlled substance in the first degree and possession of marijuana.
The indictment states that on Nov.7, 2024, Gordon committed the offense of knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine and marijuana.
If she is found guilty, she faces one to three years jail time and a fine of not more than $10,000 on the class D felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and not more than 45 days jail time and a fine of not more than $500 on the class B misdemeanor marijuana charge.
