Martin County Grand Jury Indicts 21

INEZ —The Martin County Grand Jury issued 21 true bills on July 6.
•Phillip Horn, 61, of Warfield, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
On or before March 16, Horn was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
•Zachary Delong, 27, of Debord, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
On or before July 4, Delong was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine.
•Brianna Ellis, 18, and Kody Harless, 24, both of Tomahawk, are charged with two-counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance. Harless is additionally charged with prescription of a controlled substance not in the proper container.
On or before April 4, Ellis and Harless, acting alone or in complicity with each other were allegedly in possession of Fentanyl and Heroin. Harless was also in possession of two Naloxone strips not in the properly administered container.
•Ellis is charged in a separate indictment with two counts of first- degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
On or before June 3, Ellis was allegedly in possession of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and marijuana.
•John A. Spears, 87, of Lovely, is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
On or before June 10, Spears allegedly engaged in conduct which created a substantial danger to Martin County Sheriff’s Deputy Jonathan Holbrook.
•Robert Williamson, 64, of Tomahawk, is charged with second-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault, minor injury.
On April 7, and on another date, Williamson allegedly impeded the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of another by applying pressure to the throat or neck or by blocking the nose or motion of Kathy Williamson and he physically assaulted a juvenile child.
•Derick N. Brewer, 38, of Kermit, W.Va., is charged with first-degree bail jumping.
On or before June 15, Brewer allegedly, after having been released from custody by the court upon the condition that he would appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge, failed to appear for his pre-trial conference hearing.
•Ricky Gauze, 44, of Williamson, W.Va., is charged with first-degree bail jumping.
On or before June 1, Gauze allegedly, after having been released from custody by the court upon the condition that he would appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge, failed to appear for a pre-trial hearing.
•Ray Collins, 66, and Justin Mollette, 33, both of Inez, are charged with theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 but under $100,000/complicity. Collins is additionally charged with first-degree persistent felony offender.
Collins and Mollette acting alone or in complicity with each other took aerial phone cable owned and maintained by AT&T with a total value of the items exceeding $10,000. Collins is a previously convicted felon.
•Robert Dillon, 43, of Kermit, W.Va., is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance; fourth-degree assault; possession of marijuana and possession/use of drug paraphernalia.
On or before April 8, Dillon was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine; he physically assaulted Joanne Ryder; was in possession of marijuana and two altered glass pipes.
•Allen Keith Brewer, 45, of Kermit, W.Va., is charged with theft by unlawful taking over $1,000.
On or before Aug. 31, 2022, Brewer allegedly took a 2007 GMC Envoy owned by Ariel Carver with a value of $5,700.
•Robert Moore, 36, of Debord and Kristi Fletcher, 33, of Inez, are charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking/complicity and third-degree possession of a controlled substance/complicity. Moore is additionally charged with second-degree persistent felony offender; rear license not illuminated; inadequate silencer and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license. Fletcher is additionally charged with second-degree persistent felony offender.
On or before May 20, Moore and Fletcher, acting alone or in complicity with each other, were allegedly in possession of 2.3 grams of fentanyl, $158 in cash money, digital scales and 2.25 grams of methamphetamine, and $130, with the intent to traffic fentanyl and methamphetamine. Both are previously convicted felons. Moore was also in possession of five Diazepam, he was in physical control of a vehicle without proper lighting on the rear license plate, without a proper silencer, muffler and his license had been suspended or revoked.
•Christopher G. Maynard, 46, of Pilgrim, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
On or before May 5, Maynard was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine.
•Lawrence Ratcliff Jr., 37, of Crum, W.Va., and Haskell Orsbon, 46, of Kermit, W.Va., are charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/complicity/firearm enhancement. Orsbon is additionally charged with second-degree persistent felony offender.
On or before June 9, Ratcliff and Orsbon, acting alone or in complicity with each other, were allegedly in possession of approximately 113 grams of methamphetamine, packaged in three separate plastic baggies, digital scales and an altered pipe with the intent to traffic that methamphetamine, while in possession of a Taurus brand 9mm caliber handgun. Orsbon is a previously convicted felon.
•Orsbon is also charged in a separate indictment with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. On or before June 9, Orsbon was in possession of a Taurus brand 9mm caliber handgun after having be previously convicted in a felony out of the state of West Virginia.
•Marlon Mollette, 35, and Kevin G. Fairchild, 44, both of Tomahawk, are both charged with selling or receiving a vehicle with the identification number removed or altered/complicity and receiving stolen property over $10,000/complicity. Fairchild is additionally charged with first-degree persistent felony offender.
On or before March 24, Mollette and Fairchild, acting alone or in complicity with each other, were allegedly in possession of a 2019 General Motors Savana model box truck stolen from Uhaul of Madison, Tenn. with the original manufacturer’s vehicle identification number removed or altered and the approximate value of the vehicle is $27,000.
