Man dies in Prestonsburg crash

PRESTONSBURG — A Magoffin County man died in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 23 in Prestonsburg Wednesday morning, April 12.

Brandon Lee Ray Adams, 22, of Rockhouse Road in Salyersville, was pronounced dead at the scene at by Floyd County Coroner Greg Nelson.

The accident happened just after 7 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Williams Tax Service, shutting down Holiday Inn Hill for a time as officials cleared the scene.

The cause of the crash has not yet been released.

Funeral services for Adams were held Tuesday at Magoffin County Funeral Home, with burial in Howes-Gullett Cemetery at Lick Creek.

Adams is survived by his parents, Dwayne and Stefanie Holliday Adams; a brother, Ray Adams, also of Salyersville.
