Louisa man indicted for April 2021 Walgreens robbery

LOUISA — The Lawrence County Grand Jury returned five indictments Jan. 13.
Named in the true bills were:
Jeremy Burris, 34, of Louisa, is charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree persistent felony offender for allegedly using or threatening the immediate use of physical force upon employees Patty Thompson and Joyce Burchett while committing the theft of controlled substances from Walgreens of Louisa in an attempt to accomplish the theft while armed with a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument on April 27, 2021. He is also a previously convicted felon.
John D. King, 41, of Louisa, charged with first-degree rape and second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor, who was incapable of consent because she was physically helpless at the time and allegedly inducing, assisting and/or causing a minor to engage in illegal controlled substances activity involving marijuana on Sept. 3, 2020.
Shane Case, 26, of Louisa, charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument for allegedly uttering or possessing a fraudulent or forged $100 bill and passing it at D and J Tobacco of Louisa Nov. 7, 2021, and June 15, 2021.
Kenneth Fitch, 48, of Louisa, charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and second-degree persistent felony offender for allegedly trafficking in methamphetamine on Dec. 31, 2021, and for being a previously convicted felon.
Roscoe Muncy, 39, of Blaine, charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing methamphetamine and a syringe on Nov. 30, 2021.
