LC Man Jailed After KSP Charges him with Sex Crimes

A Louisa man is behind bars after he was charged with multiple sexual violations against children and animals on Thursday, March 12.
According to a press release issued by the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Electronic Crime Branch, Christopher Allen Price, 26, was located and arrested around 4:15 p.m. on charges related to a child sexual abuse material investigation.
The arrest was the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect distributing sexually explicit images of juveniles online.
A search warrant for the residence was executed and
equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.
The investigation is still ongoing.
Price is currently charged with one count of sodomy 1st degree, 25 counts of promoting a minor under the age of 16 in a sexual performance, twenty counts of possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance, eight counts of distributing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance, and nine counts of sexual crimes committed against an animal.
Sodomy 1st degree and promoting a minor under the age of 16 in a sexual performance are Class-B felonies, punishable by ten to twenty years in prison. Possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance and distributing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance are Class-C felonies, punishable by five to ten years in prison. Sexual crimes against an animal is a Class-D felony, punishable by one to five years in prison. Price was lodged in the Big Sandy Detention Center.
