13th annual Eastern Kentucky Rodeo Festival in holds Pickleball and Pageant in Louisa

The 13 th annual Lawrence County Fair Beauty Pageant was held July 20. Winners of the Prettiest Baby Girl and Boy categories are: left to right, Caroline Jade Jewell (runner-up), Kameron Martin (runner-up), Parker Horn and Fallon Brooke Lowe, both first place winners.

The Lawrence County Fair is in the books and it has been officially announced a great success.

The fair kicked off its annual event at 8 a.m., Saturday, July 20, with the annual Pickleball Tournament at the LC tennis courts and Motocross at the Hilltop Motorcross Track, and a Cowboy Beauty Pageant at the Lawrence County Community Center.

Pickleball hosted 37 teams in multiple categories. Results of the tournament winners are: 3.0 Women’s singles, Katelyn Pauley; 3.5 Women’s doubles, Samantha Prince and Anita Bjorkely; 3.0 Women’s doubles, Adrain Webb and Eden Ross; 3.0 Mixed doubles, Paula King and Bob Hudson; 3.5 Mixed doubles, Dawn Hall and Daniel Ward;

3.5 Men’s singles, Brent Pack; 3.0 Men’s singles, Bob Hudson; 3.0 Men’s doubles, Golden Michael James and Brody Riffe; 3.5 Men’s doubles, Joshua Burton and Adam Brack; and 4.0 Men’s doubles, Luke Christopher and Noah Compton.

Winners of the beauty pageant are as follows: Fallon Brooke Lowe, winner of the Prettiest Baby Girl; Caroline Jade Jewell was runner-up and Miss Photogenic.

Parker Horn was the winner of Prettiest Baby Boy; Kameron Martin was runner-up.

Hadley Spence was the winner of the Tiny Miss category and Miss Photogenic; with Remington Hammock, runner-up.

BAILEY HOWARD (left) was crowned Junior Miss Lawrence County and Maecy Moore was chosen Miss Lawrence County Fair during the annual pageant on July 20.

Bailey Howard was selected as Junior Miss; and Maecy Moore was crowned the 2024 Miss Lawrence County Fair.
