Johnson County Indicts Eleven

PAINTSVILLE — A Johnson County Grand Jury issued eleven true bills on June 16.
•Shawn King, 35, of River, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
On or about May 21, King was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
•Brandon Michael Castle, 38, of Meally, is charged with tampering with physical evidence; second-degree persistent felony offender; first-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession of a legend drug; no registration receipt; no registration plate and failure of non-owner to maintain insurance.
On or before May 13, Castle allegedly destroyed, removed, altered or concealed physical evidence that he believed would be used against him in an official proceeding; he is a previously convicted felon; he was in possession of methamphetamine; he was in possession of Tizandine; he failed to a registration receipt; he failed to display the registration plate and he failed to produce an insurance card indicating coverage.
•Justin Michael Lewandoski, 44, of Paintsville, is charged with two counts of terroristic threatening.
On or about May 28, through May 30, Lewandoski allegedly twice threatened to commit any act likely to result in death or serious physical injury to any person, namely David Gibson, Superintendent of Paintsville Independent School, while acting in his official capacity.
•Randall Selvage, 38, of Paintsville, is charged with second-degree escape and second-degree persistent felony offender.
On or before May 26, Selvage allegedly escaped the custody of Class D Work Supervisor, Mark Reed, with the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, while incarcerated at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center and he is a previously convicted felon.
•Syliva Blevins, 37, and Christopher Hall, 38, both of Paintsville, are charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance/complicity; possession/use drug paraphernalia/complicity and tampering with physical evidence/complicity. Blevins is additionally charged with third-degree criminal trespassing.
On or about Feb. 24, Blevins and Hall, acting alone or in complicity with each other were allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, altered pipes, digital scales, and needles and they destroyed, removed, altered or concealed physical evidence that they believed would be used against them in an official proceeding.
Blevins also entered and remained upon Ramada of Paintsville property as to which notice against trespass was given by the enclosure.
•Jason Goble, 39, of Paintsville, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance; third-degree assault of a police officer; second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot and resisting arrest.
On or about Oct. 20, 2022, Goble was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine; he attempted to cause physical injury to Johnson County Constable Bruce Ritz, while he was working in his official capacity; he failed to stop after signals, commands, signs were given by Paintsville Police Officer Justin Jackson and Ritz in an attempt to flee arrest and he attempted to prevent Jackson and Ritz from effecting an arrest by using, or threatening to use physical force against them.
•Tyler Trombley, 28, of Paintsville, is charged with first-degree trafficking; third-degree criminal mischief and public intoxication.
On or before April 15, Trombley was allegedly in possession of approximately 11.5 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales and individual plastic baggies with the intent of trafficking or distributing that methamphetamine; he defaced, destroyed, or damaged property by setting a fire and having no right to do so and he was manifestly under the influence of a controlled substance to the degree he may endanger himself or other persons or property, or unreasonably annoy persons in his vicinity.
•Christopher Stambaugh, 48, of Paintsville, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession/ use drug paraphernalia.
On or about April 8, Stambaugh was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and two syringes.
•Christopher Mollette, 35, of Tomahawk, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession/use drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; failure to wear a seat belt; improper registration receipt; no registration plate and failure of owner to maintain insurance.
On or about March 20, Mollette was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, a syringe, containing a liquid substance, marijuana; he operated his vehicle without having a seat belt properly adjusted and fastened; he failed to have a registration receipt; he failed to display the registration plate on the vehicle he was operating and he failed to maintain insurance coverage.
•Leslie Ryan Reynolds, 43, of Paintsville, is charged with knowingly exploiting an adult.
On or before Aug. 1, 2022 through a period ending Sept. 13, 2022, Reynolds allegedly exploited an adult, resulting in a total loss to Urban Peters of Flatwoods, exceeding $300 in financial resources.
