Governor Paul Patton to be guest speaker and have book signing event March 30 in Lawrence County

LOUISA — A meeting of the Lawrence County, Kentucky Genealogical & Historical Society, Inc. will be Saturday, March 30, at 10 a.m., at the Lawrence County Public Library conference room in Louisa.

Former Kentucky Governor and Lawrence County native, Paul Patton will be speaking at the meeting, and will be doing a signing event for his new book, The Coal Miner Who Became Governor.

Registration for the event ends Saturday, March 16. A Box Lunch (your choice of chicken salad, turkey or ham sandwich, pasta salad, cookie, chips and a drink) is being prepared by Rebel Barn and is $15 per box lunch.
