LOUISA — Officers with the Louisa Police Department and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested four people during the execution of a search warrant Dec. 15.
Hansel Wiley, 52, Samantha Johnson, 31, both of Louisa, are charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Based on an ongoing investigation, initiated by Louisa Police Department Patrolman Teddy Newsome with the assistance of Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Osborne, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Noah’s Landing in Louisa, leading to the four people being arrested, a release from the Louisa Police Department said.
Wiley, Johnson, Ferrell and Adkins were taken into custody and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Johnson County.
The case remains under investigation by the officers, with more subjects and charges pending a grand jury presentation, the release said.
