Family of missing West Virginia woman offers reward

KERMIT, W.Va. — West Virginia State Police are investigating the disappearance of a Kermit, W.Va., woman who was last seen June 12.
The family of Brittany Horn Duff is offering a $500 reward for information leading to her whereabouts or $1,000 for her safe return.
Duff, 32, is described as being approximately 6-feet tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with brown hair with blue in it, and blue eyes.
A news release issued by the West Virginia State Police said that on June 23, Corporal G.W. Collins of the Williamson Detachment of the West Virginia State Police received a report of a missing person, identified as Duff.
Collins was told the woman was last seen June 13 at a residence in Kermit, where she reportedly left on foot carrying a backpack, and wearing blue jeans and a white shirt, the release said.
Collins also received information reporting she was seen at a residence in Louisa in Lawrence County, the release said.
Collins has been in contact with the Kentucky State Police and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office in an attempt to verify the information, the release said.
