Today, Wednesday, May 6, excused in-person voting will begin across the state. All voters needing to cast ballots during this time must have a reason recognized under state law in order to not vote on Election Day such as health issues or being away at college, starting May 6-8 and again May 11-13. No‑excuse early voting runs Thursday, May 14, through Saturday, May 16, ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, May 19. More information such as voting locations can be obtained on the Commonwealth of Kentucky State Board of Elections website at https://elect.ky.gov.
