REGIONAL —With only state races on the ballot, there was a low voter turn-out, with 10 percent in Martin, 10.46 percent in Floyd, 11.41 percent in Lawrence and 12.52 percent in Johnson.

Statewide results reveal that Incumbent Democrat Governor Andy Beshear will face off against Republican candidate Daniel Cameron on Nov. 7. In the Attorney General’s race, Democrat Pamela Stevens will face Republican Russell Coleman. Incumbent Republican Secretary of State Michael Adams will face Democrat candidate Charles Wheatly.

Democrat Michael Bowman will face off with Republican Mark Metcalf for the office of Treasurer.

Republican Allison Ball, currently serving as Treasurer will face Democratic candidate Kimberly Reeder for the office of Auditor of Public Accounts.

Democratic candidate, Sierra Enlow will face Republican Jonathan Shell for the office of Commissioner of Agriculture.

In Martin County with the lowest turnout, in the Governor’s race, Beshear received 71 votes and Cameron received 278 votes; Secretary of State candidate, Michael Adams received 401 votes; Auditor of Public Accounts candidate, Allison Ball received 488 votes; State Treasurer candidate, Sierra J. Enlow received 36 votes and Commissioner of Agriculture candidate Richard Heath received 324.

In Floyd County in the Governor’s race, Beshear received 1,595 votes and Cameron received 415; Secretary of State candidate, Michael Adams received 564 votes; Auditor of Public Accounts candidate, Allison Ball received 749 votes; State Treasurer candidate, Mark H. Metcalf received 462 votes; Commissioner of Agriculture candidate, Dem. Mikael Malone received 968 votes and Republican candidate Jonathan Shell received 522 votes.

In Lawrence County, in the Governor’s race, Beshear received 323 votes and Cameron received 440 votes; Secretary of State candidate, Michael Adams received 563 votes; Auditor of Public Accounts candidate, Allison Ball received 619 votes; State Treasurer candidate, Mark H. Metcalf received 539 votes and in the Commissioner of Agriculture race, Dem. Mikael Malone got 168 votes and Rep. Richard Heath got 445 votes.

In Johnson County with the largest turnout, in the Governor’s race Beshear received 324 votes and Cameron received 707 votes; Secretary of State candidate, Michael Adams received 1,156 votes; Auditor of Public Accounts candidate, Allison Ball received 1,225 votes; State Treasurer candidate, Mark H. Metcalf received 931 votes and Commissioner of Agriculture candidate, Dem. Sierra J. Enlow received 166 votes and Rep. candidate Jonathan Shell received 961 votes.
