Easter at the Park

The third annual community Easter Egg hunt had great weather and a wonderful turnout Saturday, April 3, at Lawrence County Wilderness Park. Children enjoyed a petting zoo, an egg hunt, games and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Events were sponsored by Kentucky State Police Post 14, A Ray of Hope, Louisa Food City, Phil Carter, Vince Doty, the Lawrence County Fiscal Court, the Lawrence County sheriff, Lawrence County Tourism and Sullivan University. A total of 2,000 Easter eggs were filled with candy, prizes and money. All children attending received an Easter basket. BSN photos/Brenda Hardwick
