Deadline to register to vote is Oct. 7

If you have not registered to vote in the November election the deadline to do so is Monday, Oct. 7.

All registered voters in Lawrence County will have three ways to cast their vote in the upcoming election.

Absentee voting, early voting, and election day voting.

To request a Mail-In Absentee Ballot online go to GOVOTEKY.GOV or call the Lawrence County Clerk’s Office at 606-638-4108. The last day to request a ballot is Oct. 7.

The dates for Absentee Voting in person will be at the Lawrence County Courthouse downtown Louisa from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Oct. 23, 24, 25, 28, 29, 30.

Early Voting will be at the Lawrence County Courthouse downtown Louisa from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and 2.

Election Day in-person voting will be Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. with voting precinct locations county-wide.
