LOUISA — The Lawrence County Fiscal Court and the Lawrence County Judge-Executive’s Office are participating in the Dell Technologies and Microsoft Erase E-waste Sweepstakes and are asking for the public’s help for their one-day event to be held on April 20.

Goodwill partners with Dell, and the officials have pledged to recycle used consumer electronics for a chance to win technology solutions, valued at $50,000, which they said would be used to purchase much-needed electronics for some of the schools in Lawrence County.

The public is asked to drop off used household electronics of any brand in any condition, including printers, monitors, keyboards, cables, laptops and more, at the Lawrence County Community Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 20.

They can only take computer-related tech like monitors, towers, laptops, keyboards, printers, etc.
