Christmas Parade

The annual Lawrence County Christmas Parade went on as planned on Saturday evening, Dec. 12. Even though “Clark Griswold” blew a transformer in downtown Louisa earlier in the evening, the power was back on in time for the festivities. Louisa’s Tinsel Trail was lit up and open for visitors to drive by or walk around the park to view. Winners of the parade float contest were first place, Lawrence County Elite Cheer; second place, Mountain Movers Theatre Company with “A Christmas Carol” actors and actresses; and third place, 3-Sisters-Events-Designs-Rentals.
