LAWRENCE COUNTY — Two bodies were found Friday afternoon in a home located at 715 Blaine Creek Road by Kentucky State Police,

In an separate, unrelated incident the same day, another body was found at 111 South Main Cross Street in Louisa by local authorities.

Natasha Nicole Marcum, 37 and Scott Marcum, 40, were both found dead at the Blaine Creek Road residence.

Lawrence County Coroner Wes Heston said Monday that the couple’s son found his parents.

“It was a domestic altercation,” Heston said. “I am waiting on the results from the pathologist. She had a traumatic wound.”

Heston said the bodies of the couple were sent for autopsies and that he has not yet gotten a preliminary report. The case is under investigation by the KSP.

In the second incident in Louisa, Heston said Leslee Anne Ray, 32, formerly of Hazard, was found at 111 South Main Cross Street.

“I got a call around 12 p.m. or so and she was also taken for autopsy,” Heston said. “The cause of her death is undetermined at this time. I also ordered a toxicology, but there was nothing around, and it was clean, it could have been natural causes. We will just have to wait and see what the autopsy reveals.”

Funeral arrangements for the Marcums will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at Young Funeral Home in Louisa, with visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ray, who grew up in Buckhorn, was a peer specialist employed by Addiction Recovery Care in Louisa.

Funeral services were Tuesday at Maggard’s Mountain View Chapel in Hazard.
