Annual free holiday dinner planned for Dec. 17 in downtown Louisa
Bring your family, friends and neighbors and enjoy a free great traditional holiday meal this Christmas season.
The annual dinner will be served from 3-5 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 17, 3-5 p.m., at the Louisa Senior Citizen Center, 101 West Pike St., downtown behind Giovanni’s Pizza.
A full dinner menu is planned, ham and turkey along with mashed potatoes, corn/green beans, rolls, dessert and a drink and is free to everyone. No need to register, walk-in and receive a meal. You can sit and eat or do take-out meals.
Organizer, Roberta Blevins-Cantrell said, “We serve everyone, the homeless, senior citizens, families with children, single adults or anyone who is just lonely and needs someone to visit with.” She continued, “None of this is possible without the help of our local businesses, churches and community members.”
