A TOTAL LOSS...
The Big Sandy Fire Department was called out to Highway 707 early Sunday morning, Nov. 7, to a report of a structure fire. Finding a fully involved fire, the Louisa, Fallsburg, East Fork and England Hill fire departments were called out to assist. Fallsburg Fire Chief Chris Jobe said that local resident Bill Rickman was on his way to work at Yatesville Lake when he spotted the fire and went to the residence, where he knocked on the doors and windows to wake up the home owners, Marshall and Samantha Endicott. “He said the dog started barking and they woke up,” Jobe said. “The home was a total loss.” A Go-Fund-Me account has been set up on Facebook for the couple and their two children.
