2024 Heritage Harvest Tour to be Sept, 28 in Lawrence and Boyd Counties

It’s that time of year again when we are in the mood for bonfires, football games, falling leaves, and Autumn is in full swing. It is also the time once again for the Heritage Harvest Tour that involves nine stops in Lawrence County along with three stops in neighboring Boyd County. The annual event begins at 9 a.m. and goes on through the day ending at 5 p.m.

It is a self-guided drive through Appalachian that takes you to many stops at churches, local businesses, and farms with a variety for the whole family to enjoy.

Some of the items and activities listed on the tour include, baked goods, hot meals for sale, antique farm equipment, farm animals, produce, a winery, crafts, fun games and activities for children, fall décor, canned goods, baked goods, molasses and honey, local vendors and petting zoos.

This year’s list of stops on the tour are: (1) 4 Got N Tymes, 3209 Cannonsburg, Rd, Catlettsburg; (2) Eden’s Harvest 19212 Walker Lane, Rush; (3) Mt Olive FWB, ST Route 3, Rush; (4) Savage Farms, 10251 N Hwy 3, Louisa; (5) Rolling M Farms, 1278 Little Cat Fork Road, Louisa; (6) Baker Chapel Church, 3900 Little Cat Fork, Louisa; (7) Fallsburg Tabernacle, 6011 N Highway 3, Fallsburg; (8) First Methodist Church of Louisa 202 Main St., Louisa; (9) Farmhouse Memories, 75 KY 32, Louisa;

(10) Smokey Valley Enterprise Baptist Church, 2524 KY 32, Louisa; (11) Quilter’s Playhouse, 51 Beasley Branch Rd., Ulysses; and (12) Buchanan Chapel at Zelda, 81 Buchanan Chapel Rd., Catlettsburg.
